SEO Executive

Overview

We are looking for a result-driven SEO Executive with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization, keyword strategy, on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, website optimization techniques, content strategy, and analytics tools to improve organic rankings, website traffic, and lead generation.

Specific Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital marketing agency, IT company, or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Search Console
    • SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz
    • Screaming Frog
    • Google Tag Manager (preferred)
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics from an SEO perspective.
  • Experience in keyword research, website audits, backlink analysis, and SEO reporting.
  • Good understanding of content optimization and user search intent.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, implement, and manage overall SEO strategy to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website pages for target keywords, meta tags, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content structure.
  • Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.

2. On-Page SEO

  • Perform website audits and optimize page titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags, schema markup, and content.
  • Ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligned with user search intent.
  • Work closely with content writers and designers to improve website visibility and engagement.
  • Optimize landing pages, blogs, service pages, and product pages for better SERP performance.

3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

  • Build and execute effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
  • Manage activities such as guest posting, directory submissions, outreach campaigns, and backlink monitoring.
  • Analyze backlink profile and remove/disavow harmful links if required.

4. Technical SEO

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, broken links, page speed, mobile responsiveness, redirects, canonicalization, and structured data.
  • Coordinate with developers to implement SEO recommendations and fix technical issues.
  • Ensure websites follow SEO best practices and Google guidelines.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar tools.
  • Track and report key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, CTR, bounce rate, conversions, and backlink performance.
  • Prepare regular SEO reports and present insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities.

6. Content & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across digital assets.
  • Suggest blog topics, content improvements, and content optimization opportunities based on keyword research and search trends.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns with SEO recommendations and performance insights.

7. Staying Updated

  • Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously test and implement new SEO strategies to improve website visibility and lead generation.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or CMS-based websites.
  • Knowledge of local SEO, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and mobile SEO.
  • Familiarity with paid search / digital marketing concepts is a plus.
  • Experience working with developers and content teams for website optimization.
